By engaging in the online world, young people are unwitting participants in the ‘attention economy’ – a system which incentivises tech companies to keep us online for as long as possible.

An unbounded and unconscious experience of the digital world can lead young people into some unintended consequences.

Similarly to learning how to drive, it’s important young people are provided with both education and practical skills to be conscious and effective drivers of their online experiences.

The Like Me Project aims to help with this.
